Jaguars coach Gus Bradley said Blake Sims is a "very natural" leader.
Said he loves Sims' spirit and energy.
Blake Sims threw a bullet over the middle. #Jags QB coach was fired up, gave Sims about three high fives --@Charlie_Potter #SeniorBowl
Don't know anything about this kid excpept that he was the "Hometown Kid" at the Senior Bowl, coached up by coach Frank and Gus. A couple tweets from January had me thinking.. A mid to late round developmental draft pick?
That would be even better. Not sure he makes it there this year with such a weak qb class; automatically pushes his value up
I read Blake Sims worked out as a running back at the combine - not a good sign for somebody invited there as a quarterback.
Hmm.. Wouldn't want that again. Not so soon anyway. I think that kid from Auburn worked out at both qb and db days. I could be wrong. What? Nick Marshall, sumn?

Nick Marshall made it very clear he wants to play cornerback in the NFL. He was surprised to be invited to the combine as a quarterback after playing cornerback at the Senior Bowl. So you can scratch him off the list.
Nah, no list for Marshall. U just made me think of it when u mentioned Simms working out as a RB
A guy i think the team may look at as a backup to Blake long term, is Brandon Bridge from South Alabama he's somewhat similar to Bortles:
Prototype size (6'4 230) Big arm, athletic, inconsistent mechanics which leads to inconsistent accuracy, but i think if given a year to adjust to the speed of the NFL game he could be a good backup.
Watched Blake Sims tape with Alabama. He's a very unreliable thrower. Blake would usually throw the ball up there and let Cooper go for it. Not very enthusiastic about this guy. He was a bad quarterback on an allout good team.

Wouldn't doubt if he's ultimately a RB at the next level

We already have a former quarterback who plays running back. Can we get a pure running back next time?

I don't think he made any suggestions to draft him.

No.

Gerhart was a good qb though, that's why we drafted him.
