Side note: Can someone find me Tony Brackens 40 yard dash time when he came out in '96.
I want to compare with Bud Dupree.
I read somewhere a few years ago, that Brackens was in the low 4.5s

I found a website titled nflcombineresults.com but I can't get it to link here. That may work.

Quote:I agree I dont think he's a once in a generation talent, but he's BAP at #3 by a wide margin IMHO. That's basically all there is to it.
That's the crux of it.
As far as Cosell's athlete statement, that's what it is. He's not saying he's a better football player, just athlete. World class athletes don't always make world class football players.

Quote:Why Suggs should be a 4.6 sprinter at 258 pounds is unclear. In playing style, he resembles Simeon Rice (4.84, 4.89 at the Indianapolis combine in 1996). In terms of speed, he matches up well with a 253-pound Michael Strahan, who ran 4.96 and 4.89 at Indy in '93. Marcellus Wiley lumbered in at 4.89 and 4.94 in '97. Tony Brackens ran 4.87 and 4.84 in '96. Anyone not interested in these pass-rushers?
