Never heard of it, but sounds pretty interesting.

I don't know how anyone can ever top Heah Ledgers joker

Not sure how I feel about Will Smith as Deadshot, and even less sure about Jared Leto as the Joker (though Heath Ledger taught me to expect the best of that role). If Margot Robbie doesn't perfect Harley's Brooklyn accent, she is dead to me.

I'm with you on this one although my exposure to Deadshot is limited to the DCAU mostly, where he is generally a bit stoic for a Will Smith character. I honestly don't see Leto's Joker having a big role in the movie as there's no way in hell they could ever cajole the Clown Prince of Crime to run in the squad (and he doesn't play nice with others). I'm more intrigued by who they will cast as Deathstroke and/or Black Manta.
Kinda bummed Tom Hardy dropped out but overall looks like a pretty good cast.

Deadshot doesn't differ too much in comics. Much more brutal, but the personality is similar.

Leto's Joker could have anything from a virtual cameo to a shot as the lead villain. That's one of the great dynamics about the Suicide Squad; they can fight anyone, any time, at Amanda Waller's whim. I expect his role to be limited to toying around with Harley (and the Squad as a result), maybe as a secondary antagonist, but they're almost certainly saving him for a Batman standalone film.

If anyone other than Ron Perlman plays Deathstroke, I will be sad. Perlman has voiced the character pretty consistently for 10 years now, he looks like Slade Wilson, and he has an action background. He should be Deathstroke, period.
After watching Arrow, I have to say Manu Bennett makes for a prime Slade Wilson.

I personally think it's a mistake to have the Joker as the BBEG for anyone but Batman, although his run-in with Superman was entertaining. I will say that the Joker is the ultimate troll for other villains though, which is an often underutilized portion of his appeal. Salvation Run and the end of Infinite Crisis immediately come to mind, but all good points duly noted.

One "random" I forgot to mention was the Enchantress. When I saw her listed in the cast, I thought they were confusing Suicide Squad for JLD (where she belongs). It's always dicey (to me), when they start interjecting magical characters outside of Zatanna, the Marvels or Doctor Fate into mainstream continuity.

Pretty much what I expect. Probably more introducing him for his roll in the following batman movies with Harley being on her own with the "team".
It's a DC universe film which means it's probably going to suck. But looking at the cast, that won't be because the actors weren't talented.

We can only hope that one of these days, they figure it out, DF. The DCAU stuff is largely very good (imo), I just with they could translate that success to the big screen. Justice League/JLU was one of the best American cartoon series of the last 20 years imo. This New 52 stuff isn't going to help matters either if they insist on using it for the movies to come.
