Not sure how this would work them being in the same division? Not sure how serious this is or if it's just more posturing but to me those two teams moving within the state is the only thing that makes sense about football in L.A. I just don't see how California could possible support a 4th or 5th team in L.A. without hurting the other 3 California teams already established.

So would they be "LA" teams or "California" teams?

I'm just glad we're talking about stadium renovations and shipyards, and then improved play on the field.

Word is the Jags have skipped the combine, will decline to participate in free agency, and have forfeited their draft picks in lieu of concentrating solely on the shipyards.  They're just too busy this year.  Plate's too full.
Was that an attempt to be funny?

It was an attempt to point out the stupidity in your post.

It was successful.

I don't care if the Raiders or Chargers improve, I'm posting an article talking about the possibility of both teams relocating. Take the stick out of your rear and climb on down off that high horse and engage in the conversation.

I'd assume they'd adopt the LA team names. California Chargers does have a nice ring to it however.

You really believe that Khan, Caldwell, Bradley and company aren't doing everything in their power currently to do what it takes to improve as a team?

I think it would make a huge difference. It would be easier on a Charger fan if it's the California Chargers, but maybe less appealing to someone living in LA.

What does this have to do with anything?
Just that we are not being brought into conversations like this. Some of you people on here are really on edge for no reason

I don't see the reason for the hostility to his post.

I interpreted it to mean he was glad to discuss relocation talk without it involving the Jaguars.

If that's the case, I think we all are.

No more stupid, incessant  jibes about the "L.A. Jaguars."

Of course now, we'll probably hear incessantly about the future St. Louis, San Diego, Oakland, and/or London Jaguars.  Wallbash

I think this shipyards project will quell those rumors.

Never underestimate the stupidity of large masses of football fans.

They have been fed this load of garbage about Jacksonville being a bad football town for years now.  It will be difficult for them to unlearn what they have "learned" and rid themselves of faulty paradigms.

I think even the national media are loathe to comment on the shipyards project and what that means for the long term viability of the Jaguars here.

If I was the marketing director of the Chargers, the team moved to Carson, CA.,   and the nickname remained the Chargers,  my suggestion would be the Southern Calfornia Chargers.   That should appeal to a large portion of fans in the Los Angeles area and still have a connection with San Diego being that the city is in Southern California.  In a way,  it would be somewhat similar to the Boston Patriots becoming the New England Patriots when the team moved from Boston to Foxboro.   The latter is closer to Providence, RI.  than it is to Boston.
Oakland has always made too much sense.

This is a simple case of the Raiders and Chargers panicking... There is no way they just come "out of the blue" with this partnership idea.

the owner of the Rams is serious, they will break ground on the stadium in ingle wood soon.

The raiders and chargers fan base hates each other, in fact, the chargers made a rule for the raider game, you had to buy two other tickets for charger games in order to get a ticket for the raider game.

The owner of the rams needs 75% vote from the owners to move to LA. Absolutely ZERO owners will turn it down because of revenue sharing.. Also, he is spending his own money to build it, not costing other owners a dime.. Only owners who will turn it down will be Oakland and San Diego (softville).

What I find hilarious is the owner of the chargers claims 25% of his fan base is from LA.... That's freaking comedy!

The LA market is mostly Raider and ram fans. You can sprinkle a few charger fans.

There are more people who root for teams outside of the 3 teams I mentioned more than the Chargers.

Signed,

What people are saying in LA.

Los Angeles would hate to be lumped in with half a state. We wouldn't stand for it.

Actually, he can move the team with the approval of zero owners. He's just shut out of NFL funding if he does it that way.
