Would really hate to lose this guy. I feel like he has potential to be more than just a guy. I can see him taking his speed and talents to another team and have a better year than Justin Forsett did this past season. I.e. Rashad Jennings. Takes?
He is valuable as a kickoff returner until we find a better man for the job.

Ehh... He's alright in that role, but i feel that behind better line play, he could rush for 1500+. Just hate seeing guys underutilized here just to go elsewhere amd excel. I think that's my main concern with him.
im a todman fan but what is his career long for kick return?

Justin Forsett excelled in Baltimore because he was a perfect fit in Gary Kubiak's system. It certainly helped that the Ravens were a playoff team too. But the problem in Jacksonville was injuries. Who knows how good he could be for us if he stayed healthy?

Rashad Jennings struggled in Oakland, so he clearly was a case of needing the right coaches and/or teammates. Sometimes players need to join several teams before they figure out where they belong.
Used to not really care about him. He proved me wrong.

He deserves to be on next yrs team. I like him a lot.
Don't do the same error that we do with Forsett.

Jennings didn't struggle in Oakland.
He is a restricted free agent. I would be surprised if he is not with the team in camp.

Just don't ask this knucklehead about it.

Yeah, but there have been plenty of examples of players being let go and having success elsewhere, offensively and defense. Makes it look like the brass had the talent and wasn't wise in the utilization of those players. Todman will make an impact for another team if not re-signed. Lets get a good line and see what he can do with that vision, cut ability and speed

Todman's career long is 59 yards and his season long last year was 40 yards. The thing that makes him a very good return man is his consistency in getting out to the 25-35 yard lines. In fact he was 7th in kick return average in 2013 and 8th last season. I'd fully expect Jordan to be back with the team next season since he's an RFA and a good role player.

He may not be a star running back or even all that awesome as a kick returner, however, he does seem to be at least fairly reliable as a running back/returner with break-away potential. He has higher overall value than Toby does, imho.

Def can agree with that
Eh...he's ok.

lolno

163 carries, 733 yards, 4.5 ypc., 6 TDs on the ground

36 rec., 292 yards, 8.1 yards per catch

Landed a 4-year, $14M contract with the Giants based upon that year
What is it with people hyping up mediocre players?

Todman is a good kick returner.  He is not a good running back.  I know he broke up a play or two but that does not mean he is a good players.  He was invisible at running back until the last 2 games of the season.  He rushed for 186 yards the whole year.

Hey.. He did lead the league in rushing during the preseason (2013).. So...
He is better than Toby. I'd rather keep Todman and Dnard than have Toby & Denard. Of course, Toby is built like a brickhouse so we will probably try to keep him around for another year. I'd like another running back or two to push out Storm Johnson and Toby.

Word! This seems like a great draft for RB's
