This story has captivated the Jacksonville area for the past 5 years, and this is about as appropriate an ending to this stage of the story as anyone could ask for.  What a great story.

 

Honestly, I don't know how this mother has been able to maintain her sanity through all of this.  It's amazing just how strong he has proven to be, and now she's an advocate who is making a difference.

I ran in the first 5k they had for her the year after it happened.  Even then the mother was amazingly strong.  There are some sick people out there.

Such a sad story all around.

I used to work for the city and drove by that house every day to and from work for years. Puts a lot of things in an eerie perspective on the scum trash in our society.

The murderer should have been in the house when it was torched IMHO

God bless those parents I can't even......the people that harm children should be ripped limb by limb. There's no rehabilitating a monster that assaults children it's a one way trip to the furnace.
