Speeder faces $1,900 fine

Sometimes it’s cheaper to fly.

A Canadian man was caught by police doing 140 mph (226 kph) in a 62 mph (100 kph) zone and faces a hefty fine, CTV News reports.

Everyone speeds a little...that guy speeds a lot.  Well deserved.

I didn't know a Malibu could get down like that! This guy is lucky he's only facing a fine and not jail time.

He did that in a Malibu? Don't give that man a ticket; somebody give him a medal!

Or a contract to drive Nascar.
Anything over 30mph usually gets you arrested surprised he's not in jail

Edit: it was in Canada have no idea what the laws are there

He apologized. Presumably he will be paying his fine in that sweet sweet maple syrup.

At 140 mph I could be in Belgium in 20 minutes.
"One hundred and forty miles per hour... 20 minutes... 60 minutes in an hour..."

Uh, I was told there would be no math.

It's about 60 km or 37,5 miles. At 140 mph that's 0.268 hours or 16.07 minutes.

Roughly the distance from St. Johns Town Center to the state border with Georgia.
