Epcot Bar Crawl: Your Game Plan for Drinking in 11 Fake Countries
When your parents take you to Disney World as a 20-something, you have to justify things. For instance, why would I spend a day in relatively close proximity to the Mad Tea Party spinning cups? Because I’m a grown [BLEEP], responsible adult, the answer was simple: a drinking game.

I got pretty smashed at Epcot one year for St. Patrick's Day.. I was drinkin those plastic "yarders" that you can hang around your neck.. I ended up passing out on that one ride that goes through that big globe thing... Good times..
They actually sell shirts there that have boxes for check marks in each country as you get your drink.
I won't tell you how I know that.
The food and wine fest is great; they add a ton of more countries. And don't let the "wine" part deceive you, each station has liquor.

Didn't they shut it down?
Quote:Didn't they shut it down?
Nope. I don't think they ever will either. That golf ball looking structure is an iconic symbol of Epcot and Disney World in general.

No, its up and running again. They actually changed it and the new stuff is kind of cool (at least the first time you do it)
The only problem with all the drinking is having kids around it. There really are some people that have no clue how to hold their alcohol and can be an embarrassment when kids are around.
I haven't been there in a long time but really enjoyed Germantown or whatever they call it. Great beer and the food is really good.

Germany.

I liked the tequila bar in Mexico. Especially since my friend was buying the shots of Don Julio.
I really need to post the picture of my buddy and me trying on hats in Canada, near the end of our trip through all of the countries.
They dont even mention the frozen mojito at the Passport stand right at the entrance. 3rd best drink there.
The Apuavit shot in Norway really is that bad. I actually bought a Margarita to chase it just like the article said.

What does Canada have to offer? I noticed it has the shortest mention in the article.
Quote:Germany.
Yeah, that's the country but I was trying to remember the name of the main pavillion area were you get the eats and the beer. Looked it up, turns out it's just the
Biergarten.

Interestingly, they are right in the middle of tearing down the giant sorcerers hat at Hollywood Studios. Its been the park icon for a long time but they're doing away with it. Part of a huge make over and expansion.

Just beer and a steakhouse that isnt as good as it used to be.
Two tequilas in Mexico then just swill beer in Germany till they throw you out. Nothing else there worth the effort.

Both France and Italy have a fine selection of wines, and The Rose and Crown pour some nice cocktails (and Guinness!)

It was supposed to be a temporary thing. People liked it, so they kept it. Hollywood Studios is getting a HUGE makeover right now, and that had to go. It was blocking what is supposed to be the iconic symbol of HS, The Chinese Theater.
