I say leave the pick (especially if it's one of their 1st rounder’s) because I can see the Browns irrational owner (Jimmy Haslam) inexplicably trading up to 3 to select Marcus Mariota, he's ignorant enough to make that kind of move.
I said it before, I'll say it again.
As bad as we have it, we could always be Browns fans.
Browns should lose their first round pick if found guilty. Dysfunction? Maybe. But there's potential advantages to be gained from this. I remember Mickey Loomis was suspected of having listening devices so that they could find out opposing playcalls. I don't think he was found guilty -- but imagine if Farmer had something similar. Even the possibility is probably why this is banned.
Won't be surprised to see the NFL come down hard on the Browns. Though I have a feeling if they were a more popular team, we'd be hearing "Everybody does this" and "There's no proof!"

I feel sorry for the Browns on this one; it is a ridiculous rule. If I am the owner or GM of a team, I don't think I should be prohibited from communicating with the coach to suggest a certain play to be run.
If this were the Patriots, this thread would be 100 pages long, Bill Belichick would have all ready been suspended for life and Tom Brady run out of town on rails

Belichick wasn't suspended for Spygate. He wouldn't be suspended if he was caught doing this either. There's no situation where the league would suspend Belichick. It's the Browns, so they'll get their (deserved) punishment.

Nobody feels sorry for the Patriots, they are either a fan or they hate them. There's not a lot in between, from football fans that is.
They might respect what they have done, but they can still hate them for whatever reason they choose.
