Now that the offseason has begun, all 32 teams have head coaches, and the first round draft order is set, trades will be a more common topic. Something most people don't think about but should is the fact that a trade involving two other teams is important to us. So are reports about teams wanting or trying to trade specific players for picks or picks for players. So let's look at the big picture instead of just what the Jaguars should do based on the draft order and who plays where.
Example 1: Somebody wants to trade with the Titans, Buccaneers, or Raiders (depending on the round) to prevent us from picking him.
Example 2: The Bills try to recover their first round pick by offering a player they don't want anymore and the Texans or Colts accept it.
Then there are scenarios involving multiple trades to move up and down in the draft such as trading with the Eagles for a 2016 first rounder and later using the extra second round pick to move up from 20 to ~15. I have not seen that idea discussed in any threads about the Eagles wanting to trade up.
So what do you think other teams will or should do? Have you heard or read any reports about trade possibilities around the league? All news and ideas related to trades in 2015 are welcome here.
