In the next 60 days Shad Khan and the @Jaguars will be announcing their plans for the shipyards. -Jerry Mallott @JAXPartnership
I wasn't sure If this is a sideline topic or not. Apologies if it should be. Looks like just more proof of Shads commitment to this team and this city.

I worked on the chicken boat when i stayed in J-Ville 10 years ago. In fact my labor ready branch sent about 200 concession workers to super bowl 39 , including my kid's mom, who incidentally ruined my son's bday cake and threw my cell phone 50 feet cause she was trippin about some nonsense. Had to call the cops to have her escorted outta my whip, my son's bday, the day of the super bowl, yet and still I still put her on a work ticket for the stadium that day. After all that, she was at the game while i was in the office. Talk about unfair..... So anyway.. what's Shad doing now?

Well none of us, in fact no one else in the city of Jax, has the money Shad has. We are very lucky to have an owner with vision and ooooodles of money to not only spend on the team but make our city better.

Yeah, well.. Ya know! No but seriously. I remember Mark Lamping saying something about the ship yars last year was wasn't clear on what the plans were, if'n anyone has any details on what's in store. I agree that improving the city is definitely wusup, especially with the new stadium renovations that should bring in more large offseason events
I sadly live in California so this stuff doesn't effect me and such but I do hope it helps the city of Jacksonville. I look forward to hearing more about it and how it may effect the Jaguars.
Are we talking Nightclubs? Jaguars facilities/themed areas? Shipping docks?
Ive no clue what the shipyards was supposed to be much less what type of buildings they are going for
There were some renderings floating around a few months back. Early word was that it would be some portions of it Jaguars themed. Indoor practice facility and even one rendering that showed a Ferris wheel and some kind of small amusement park.
We won't know until the plans are revealed in a couple of months, but that was the early thinking on what he wanted to do with this vacant land so close to the stadium.

Amen brother. Going to regency to hit up a target is annoying as crap. They often have deals on specific things I like to collect.

Regency damn near dead. River city market place is a giant food court. If you want to shop anywhere decent you gotta go to Avenues, SJTC, or OP. Downtown is lame.
This city is so imbalanced and being spread out doesn't help at all.

If you zoom in, it's pretty obvious...
