Perhaps you were confused by the topic.  The Arizona Cardinals hired Leftwich.

Leftwich's drawl is no worse than Shannon Sharpe's... he could still make the sportscaster thing happen.

I can hardly understand a word Sharpe says.  His is no drawl, it's more like a double or triple dribble.

 

He's basically Mushmouth from the Cosby Kids.

 

I could see Leftwich in front of the camera, but looks like there's a future for him in coaching.  We'll see how that plays out first.
