If you could re-do the draft, which scenario would you choose?..
Odell Beckham and Derek Carr
or
Blake Bortles and Allen Robinson
I think I would stick with Bortles and Robinson only because I think Blake is going to be a great QB not just a good one.
Just a hypothetical, fun question to ask the fans!
Interesting question. I think I'd stick with Bortles and Robinson for now too. While Odell is obviously on another level, I think Robinson has shown the potential to develop into a number 1 receiver in another year or two with Dez Bryant type size and skills. And I think Bortles long term should be better than Carr since he has more physical tools and the same work ethic. Carr has just been bred to be a QB since he was a child similar to Luck and had way more experience than Bortles coming out (4 years as a starter at Fresno vs. 2 years for Bortles at UCF).
I'd stay with Bortles and Robinson, simply because I believe that Bortles will ultimately be better than Carr.
I would have picked Allen Robinson with the assigned pick in Round 2. David Caldwell gambled by trading up to get Robinson with an additional second round pick. Why did he take that chance instead of simply go get Robinson at #39?

Because Lee showed more potential and I'd have to agree with him. Of course, Robinson has quickly become the better WR but he doesn't have the ability to go over the top and the after-the-catch skills that Lee has in college.
Anyway, I'd grab Bortles and Robinson. I have faith that Bortles will be a star. Beckham will outshine Robinson but I think Robinson will be a productive WR.

Unfortunately the ability Lee showed in college did not materialize in his rookie season. I felt like he was just another player while Robinson was something special.

How about you answer the question and stay on topic or please just stay out of this thread. Please.
I'm sticking with the hand I'm dealt.
As has been pointed out on this board ad nauseum; Bortles has so much more room to grow than any other rookie Quarterback, even Bridgewater. If he can tap into all of that potential, he's going to be a force. I think I might like ODB Jr a little better than Robinson, but the QB more than makes up for that difference.
People keep asking this....
but you do realize that Carr was gone before our 2nd round pick, right?
Ask me again this time next year.
I think Bortles will be good but Beckham and Robinson last year and trade for Foles this year.

Are you kidding me? I'd take Beckham and Carr and not even think twice about it after how this season played out. Beckham was a monster all year. Carr had a very productive season and an impressive TD:INT ratio in a tough AFC West division with NO running game at all.
Of course the majority of the people will say stick with what we got. Shocker. No homerism though. I'd take the freak wideout with the more than competent qb on my team every time. If this defense becomes more dominate I can win with that easily.

hahah I agree with this.
Beckham is unreal for how young and raw he is. I mean he will be an elite WR if he's not there already. Bortles and Carr are a wash at this point but boy do I hope Bortles ends up being better. I also think Robinson will be good but the scary thing is Beckham can still get better too.
Because Robinson got injured I would have taken Bortles and then would have taken another WR like Jordan Mattews. OR trade down in 1st get ODB and get Garapplo in 2nd or Carr.
