Who do you think will see his stock go way up or way down as a result of the EWSG, Senior Bowl, NFL Scouting Combine, college Pro Days, and private team workouts?

It look like some people were saying Clive Walford might be a first round pick based on his SB practices. However, three tight ends ranked higher than Walford before the game could not play in the SB. So I am not  ready to say he should go in the first round because he must be compared to juniors Maxx Williams, Nick O'Leary, and Devin Funchess.

Many people seem to think Bryce Petty is probably going to be the third quarterback selected, but that is far from a sure thing. Could his decision to throw at the combine combined with Marcus Mariota possibly not being able to affect the quarterback order - or even Jameis Winston's off-field behavior? Mariota is not expected to be a Week 1 starter, but the Eagles are reportedly willing to trade the farm for him.

Those are just two examples. I know there are many others. Who do you think has the most to gain or lose before April 30?

Well the combine is going to really be for the WR and Secondary to see how their 40 times go to see who rises and falls there. As far as the rest unless they screw up interviews I doubt their position will change much.

The other position groups benefit from good 40 times.

DE/OLB Mike Mamula had a great 40 time at the combines.

It propelled him to be a top ten draft selection.
Two prospects ive had my eye on who could rise or fall in the combine are S Cody Prewitt and CB Senquez Golson. Prewitt showed good closing speed at the senior bowl practice but there are still concerns of his ability to play center field. How well he moves in the combine could answer those questions. Golson was an all american corner this year, but his 5'9 size is something that will make teams shy away. Vertical jump and fluidity in the drills could elevate him from a 5th rounder to maybe a third. He has the ability and physical ability, but in the NFL, size is always a plus. I think the guy that has the most to gain or lose is Nick Marshall. We know he is athletic and has speed, but the drills at the combine could mean the difference between maybe a 5th round choice to going undrafted. No matter how well Marshall does, the highest i can see him getting drafted is may be someone reaching for him in the 4th.
Want to add, yes, i am an Ole Miss fan and no i don't see the Jags taking him, but Bo Wallace , QB, is fighting to get drafted this year. Some days he looks crazy good (see Alabama game) others, he looks terrible (see TCU, LSU) you shouldn't hold the Ark game against him. He wrecked his ankle very early in the game. He has good size for QB and a good arm, but he is like a more reckless Favre at times. I see him as possibly a 6-7th round choice, granted he is able to participate in tbe combine. Injuries the past two years (another red flag) could hold him out
I'm waiting to see which OL shatters Armstead's record 40-time for OL and jumps up. That was an entertaining combine.

If Golson excels at all of the drills and does what he is supposed to do during games, somebody is not going to worry too much about how short he is. Joe Flacco's #1 target last year is only 5-9.

As for Marshall, he needs to work privately with a professional cornerback to learn everything about playing the position. One week with the Jaguars coaches was a good start, but that was when he decided to be a cornerback instead of a quarterback in the NFL.
Is this the ** OFFICIAL RISERS AND FALLERS THREAD *** of just a prelim to one that is forthcoming?

good question, only jdub can answer that
During the Senior Bowl game Petty looked...well petty. He missed a lot on his throws but a few were because him and the wr weren't on the same page.

Scouts don't put much stock in the senior bowl game itself. TBH most leave after Friday's workouts.

There will be no official thread on this topic.

But the Jaguars and Titans coaches stayed for it. Obviously they will put some stock in the game itself.
She's on a roll tonight ! Ye haw !

Not really. Just ask Aaron Colvin.

Colvin was an anomaly. He dropped so far in the draft because of the knee injury. The team that stopped the fall was the team that coached him.

Yet he didn't play in the game.

Like I said, that was an unusual situation. Other players we coached in Mobile last year did play in the game and got picked by . . . the Jaguars.

Jag4Lyfe, that link says 404 File Not Found.

As of right now McKinney is looking like one of the fallers.  Nobody knows what the teams GMs and scouts think but for some of the others he looks like his stock has fallen a bit.  Most mocks all year long had McKinney going in the first now Daniel Jeremiah 2 round mock has him falling out of the first and CBS has him rated as the 3rd best ILB behind kendricks and Perryman.
