This is the real one.
You might get Thomas and Bulaga from that list with those numbers if you're lucky.

That would make Thomas 2nd highest paid TE and Beluga in top 5 for RT.

If Justin Houston would hit free agency this offseason, he'd get $100 million.

He'd be the highest paid olb by almost 40 million. Clay Matthews making 66 million. At 12.5 a year would be highest paid in league.

He would be, though it's a moot point since there's no chance Kansas City lets him hit free agency. Justin Houston's a 25 year old pass rusher who has had 10 sacks, 11 sacks (in 11 games), and 22 sacks the last three seasons. Teams overpay millions for just good starters and Defensive Player of the Year caliber players like him rarely if ever hit free agency, especially in their prime. Mario Williams received a $100 million contract and Houston is easily a more dominant player than him. Jacksonville, Oakland, and Cleveland all have tons of cap space and would get in a bidding war against one another for his services. Clay Matthews would have had the opportunity to earn more had hit free agency, but he decided to stay with Green Bay.

KC has 400,000 in cap space. They may not have a choice in the situation. JJ Watt goy 100 mill and Houston is not JJ Watt. 60-70 Million is more reasonable and probably more accurate but if he is the last to sign and sees the above FAS he may be swayed by Gus. I change it to 4 Years 66 Million. That's 16.5 Million and makes him the highest paid OLB by 5 Million a year.

Cobb, Houston, and McCourty will all make significantly more than that. Bulaga will likely make several million less.

It's extremely unlikely Thompson lasts until round 2 and even less likely that Prewitt lasts until round 6.

He's no JJ Watt, but he had more sacks than JJ in 2014.

You think he is the best def player in the league, no he's not. Why pay him like it. He's top 5 and that's the money he gets.
this scenario is never going to happen. we would be lucky for half of those things to come to fruition.

Hey expect the unexpected with Dave Caldwell. No one had Bortles going to the jags last year or stealing Aaron Colvin in the 4th.
We have too many needs to make a TE our biggest acquisition then turn around and use the 3rd round pick for another TE.

I'd rather go RB in round 3 and get Duke Johnson or Ameer Abdullah

Guest

I like Abdullah but he seems to be another quick twitch rb like Denard. Duke is a great running back but every game I watched he was injured and limping. I like Jay Ajayi as a rb who is an all around rb with speed and power. Ideally we could get Melvin Gordon in the 2nd but I doubt that. We may not get 2 tes but the team is almost now set in place for success.

Beluga? They're going to sign a whale?
