I thought about this yesterday when they mentioned him in the game he does have a lot of experience and sucess
I wonder how this will work since Dallas just sent out a memo letting all 31 teams know that they won't grant any assistant coaches permission to interview until 3 days from now, unless its for a HC position, giving them time to work out new deals for their coaching staff.
Ryan O thinks its for a different position:
(@ryanohalloran) - #Jaguars blog -- report says team wants to talk to Dallas OC Bill Callahan (I think it would be for OL spot).

Yes, I'm sure Callahan will love to take a demotion for the privilege of working under Coach Bradley.

I know. Sometimes I think Ryan O types before thinking.

Considering he didn't call the plays in Dallas, he may bolt for a true OC opportunity. It's hard to deny how the Cowboy's run game and offensive line flourished under Callahan's tenure and he would make sense since the we're looking to utilize the run game more.

I think he was referring to Ryan O's tweet.
Wow.... if we can get Callahan to come here to take a demotion and coach the offensive line, perhaps we can get Chip Kelley here as our OC.

Yeah, I noticed it after I hit reply...
I do wonder how this will work? Would be really take the OL job here? Id be fine with that but doesnt really sound like the cowboys want to let him go either?

Don't stop there, were gonna get Cowher to come out of retirement and coach our Defense

your giving him too much credit for actually thinking. he has no brains and deff. has does not football
Lol Callahan to our offensive line. If that turns out to be true I'm going to eat my shoe.

You'll have to put that one up on YouTube.
I doubt he would leave a OC job to coach under Bradley's 7-25 record to coach the OL! Thats the dumbest thing I have ever heard in football terms. Im thinking he could be interviewing for the OC spot.
O'Halloran's tweet makes more sense considering he thinks the Jags should bring Gase in as OC... lol...
