I wonder if they promote Del Rio to HC?

Looks like Elway and the Broncos are looking to clean house again with Manning (most likely) retiring. John Fox was never a great coach IMHO. He gets way too much credit for that 2003 Panthers SB run. I wish him the best though.

They may try to promote Adam Gase to replace him to keep some stability and appease jughead.

Is he an offensive or defensive guy. Maybe the Jags might want him.

Its a nice way of saying "either you quit or we fire you". Either way we don't want you here anymore.

Rex Ryan also got an extension the year before he was fired IIRC.

 

It looks to me like he does not want to work with two new coordinators and expects to lose both of them.

According to NFL.com, John Fox "is free to interview with the 49ers, Bears, Bills, Falcons, and Raiders for their own vacancies."

He sucked in the playoffs too. And when they finally get to the big game he gets blown out.

Denver beat New England as the #1 seed in the AFC Championship Game. They only sucked in the Super Bowl last year. With Tim Tebow, they beat the Steelers at home. So to say they suck in the playoffs is an exaggeration.

 

Marvin Lewis never won a playoff game. He was never on the hot seat for that and should be the first coach you think about when you say someone "sucked in the playoffs."
