First off, I can't stand Brady.  But I wish he was the QB for the Jags.

Basically he punked out the entire Ravens coaching staff during his press conference.  I guess the Ravens didn't understand the whole ineligible receiver formation that the Pats threw at them.

So basically we're all stuck for another week having to hear about how great Brady and Belicheat are.  I'm not sure I will be able to handle listening to ESPN radio this week at work.   Wallbash

The Patriots are clearly the team to beat in the AFC...  Anyone think that the clots or the Broncos can beat them in Foxboro?

No they'll be playing for a super bowl. I'm with on you Bill Belichick but I actually really like Tom Brady...seems like a good guy to me

I don't see what is so hard about that formation. One of the receiver lines up on the LOS, appearing to be eligible. But since he's covered by the wide receiver he is in fact ineligible which means he can't go downfield.

Ravens secondary was just not good enough. The one time they covered the flat, Brady went deep for a TD. They kept bending until they broke.

I think the issue was that the ravens didn't know which receiver was ineligible, so they basically had 1 CB covering the ineligible WR and thus had a mismatch in the secondary.

The arguement by the ravens is that they were not notified who the ineligible receiver was, and thus were out-matched in the secondary.  Or something like that...

I think the gripe was that the D wasn't notified which reciever was designated as ineligible.

Totally agree.  Brady was basically picking apart the Ravens the entire game.  I used to rail against the talk that he was a great QB.  But there's no denying it.  He's HOF no doubt about it.

Did you see him throw a tantrum in the first half when he got sacked?  That kind of thing is what bugs me about Brady.  But...  If he was a Jaguar, I'd obviously love it.  But he's not, so I can't stand it.  LOL

That would be a fair argument but the replay clearly showed the umpire pointing out the ineligible receiver. The patriots caught them with their pants down.
Brady was right.  I'm pretty sure the whole team looked at the rule book, and figured out some new scheme to do.  They announced everything to the refs, and the refs announced it to the team.  At one point, the refs said to the Baltimore defense because they were too stupid to figure it out, "Do not cover Vereen, he is ineligible."

Harbough does not need to complain.  They squandered not 1 but 2,14 point leads.  Also, the refs threw some questionable calls out there against the Patriots.  Game changing penalties.  Brady and Bellichick beat them fair and square, with the refs trying to help the Ravens.  One drive where they couldn't figure out a coverage shouldn't do anything.  To me it's like all those play action passes they did against the Patriots.  It fooled them big time.  It was a damn good game.

LOL, and I think that's why Brady basically said, "Figure it out".  Obviously what transpired was well within the rules.  Like you said, the Ravens got caught napping, basically.  The Pats out played them and out coached them yesterday.  That's just the way it goes.

Man, I hate the patriots!  I hate that they are so much better than us.

Those 2 fumbles that the ravens couldn't recover I think was a sign that the Patriots were just gonna beat the Ravens.  Things like that when on the road could have really sealed the patriots fate.  But the ravens came up short.

Plus, they really just couldn't stop Brady.  You give Brady time, and he's gonna kill ya.  He's great.  Man, I hate having to say that.

Brady was pissed because the Ravens player kneed him in the face and wouldn't get off of him. I'm surprised you didn't catch that, they showed the replay 2 or 3 times haha

In my oppinion, I think he is the best post season QB ever.  The most clutch QB I have ever seen.  It's debatable with people about regular season because of Peyton.  I think if Brady wins the Super Bowl this year, he will be the best QB of all time.  His records in the post season are number 1 in many categories.  Next week will be his 9th AFC Championship.  That is insane.
Basically, Harbaugh got out coached by one of the best coaches in NFL history. Belichick just creates so much for a team to prepare for in one week. I hate him, he has cheated in the pa st, but I can't take it away from him that he's damn good.

The refs were ridiculous last night.  They called everything on the Pats, and then dude stood over Brady and kneed him in the helmet when he was trying to get up.  No call...and Jdub called him classless last night for yelling at the refs for that.. Wallbash

I just finished watching this game and was wondering about some of those calls. The thought that they (refs) were helping came to mind but wasn't sure. Glad I'm not the only one who thought the same thing.

How could someone "not stand Brady"?

Its the same with JJ Watt, there is simply NOTHING they do that could make anyone dislike them...except destroy your team of preference.

Gotta admire guys who even after many years of success, still hungry for more. I wish he was on my team

After all of the game-changing, rule-changing calls in favor of the Patriots with Brady at QB, I'm OK with a game like this one going against them.

By all accounts, Brady is a nice guy and great team player, but he whines entirely too much for me. It seems like he'll whine to the ref at least once a game and often gets the call when he does.

The only thing I dislike about Brady is how he gets in the face of referees and yells at them trying to get them to throw flags.
