Oh wow... like some of you, I had no idea he was ill... RIP stu
very appropriate quote

"When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer," Scott told the audience. "You beat cancer by how you live, why you live, and in the manner in which you live."

I watched Rich Eisen's announcement about it on NFL Network...jeez, seeing the man break like that almost had me in tears. I grew up watching them, Olbermann and Patrick, Charley Steiner and Linda Cohn and the rest of the crew on SC.

RIP Stuart
So sad. I understand he had been battling cancer since like 2007 or something.

RIP

RIP.
RIP Stuart Scott. My favorite sportscenter person hands down.

Sad to see you go.
I was disappointed nobody on Fox announced it.

Thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

Both networks mentioned it either during pregame or the actual games.  Fox also mentioned it during the pregame.
Quote:The best, RIP Stu. He was as cool as the other side of the pillow

So the answer is yes?

My answer is, I've had that same team name for 10-15 years now and I'm not changing it.
But I'm sure you'll figure out a way to call me a racist out of it for some reason.

I didn't ask you about your team name, I asked are you making fun or someone's eye condition, and mocking their death.

What does this have to do with race?

My honest answer? Eye condition? Yes... His death? Not a chance cause I was and still am a huge Stu Scott fan.
