Now he's most likely not on the Jags' radar, but say Winston drops to #3, and the Jags trade down to #5 or #6 and he's the best player on the board. Do you take him, or do you attempt to trade down again and obtain more ammunition?
Also, how do you feel about Cooper as an NFL prospect?
Look at M. Lee numbers at USC under Kippen. Now look at Cooper......really???
I am going to have to put this as my signature I have posted so many times
Good question though if you did not know this and maybe we will be able to trade down like Cleveland did with Detroit for Sammy Watkins.
Allen Robinson>Amari Cooper imo.

Buffalo, not Detroit. And the Bills got Sammy Watkins, not the Browns.
Proper English: Maybe we will be able to trade down like Cleveland did with Buffalo
to let the Bills pick Sammy Watkins.
I hope you do
not make that your signature. The coach's last name is KIffin, not Kippen. Also, that line tells me absolutely nothing about Marqise Lee and Amari Cooper because numbers alone are meaningless. If you want to look at their numbers, fine, but only the eye test will do you any good.

Lol your a joke

And yes too coop
Since trading down was mentioned here, let's see who comes after us.
But teams probably would trade up for Amari Cooper, so we should not trade down if he is on our radar.
We have more pressing needs and all drafting cooper will do will give us 'the receivers are young' for another year, nope get a vet if he's still there at 5/6 trade down again.
Depending on FA, I'd MUCH rather grab a tackle or a DE/OLB, which there will be very good prospects there for both positions. I'd consider it if he was far and away the best prospect, but I don't see that at all.
Cooper is a good player but I seriously doubt the team drafts a receiver in the first round. If they trade back, I think they look pass rusher like Ray or Fowler.

We can use Cooper as trade bait. If we want to trade down, Caldwell can tell a receiver-needy team by trading up they can get Cooper. I am not sure if teams do that during the draft though.
I don't get he hype for Amari Cooper. He's a good player, but the idea of taking him in the top 3, or even the top 10 really blows my mind. He's not THAT good.
I guess we will find out soon enough. I see him as a mid to late first rounder.

He is not going third

He could be projected higher after Alabama's Pro Day.

No he really couldn't. He is no aj/jj/ or cj coming out of college and even CJ only went top 3 out of those 3
No way to drafting Cooper. We have bigger needs elsewhere, and I'm not sure he's much of an upgrade over what we have now. We've got enough talented, young receivers on this team for any offense this side of "The Greatest Show on Turf", and while I could see us drafting a wideout later on, taking one with our first round pick when we've got screaming needs for linemen on both sides of the ball, linebackers and defensive backs would be a wasted selection.
The team has needs everywhere, including WR. I'm not counting on Robinson, Hurns, and Lee to be studs next year. None of those guys are primary number 1 receivers. Cooper may not be either but what we have at the position shouldn't stop us from drafting one if he's the best player available.

Actually, the offensive coordinator for Alabama doesn't spell his name with a capitalized "I" as the second letter in his name. It is spelled "Kiffin", not "KIffin" like you wrote. Maybe you should fact check before you come with that crap.
