IF he's there in the 2nd I think he makes sense, he can play Center and Tackle making him a versatile Olinemen regardless of where we put him. What's your take on him FSU people?

I would rather go a different route in the 2nd.  Dave already said we are fine at center so Bownako will keep his job and wasnt bad for a rookie.  Erving kept getting burnt when he played tackle so they moved him to center.  If for some reason we dont get a RT in free agency and we need one, If we go oline in the 2nd I think the will be a RT.

Lol. Wrong. That's not why he was moved.

you're a Creminols fan of course not, just like you think Winston is a good guy

He was moved because Austin Barron got hurt and our freshman backup isn't physically ready and was getting abused. Trickett cross trains his linemen at every position, so Erving has worked at center quite a bit.

It has nothing to do with Erving "getting burnt."
I'd be all for Erving in the 2nd. Let him play center and sign a RT in FA. Bowanko would then play the interior swing role. Based in Caldwell's comments the other day, I doubt he goes that route.

I remember him last year at one point some considered a top 10 pick. Then earlier in the year seeing him drop to a 2nd or 3rd round prospect. If was playing so good why the predicted fall in the draft?

You tell me. He's had one bad game this year, and that was against Clemson.

lol, exactly. I guess they drop players for no reason. Even Fl. St. fans were saying Erving wasn't that good when he played takcle. You also think Winston is a good guy lol. Anytime anyone says anything negative about a FL St. player is the only time I see you post.
OLT is different than ORT. Irving could play ORT on the Jags line and do very well.

I don't think we need to make our oline any younger than it is. I think that was one of the problems with our line last year.

Got a link or proof of FSU fans saying that? I'm gonna guess that I probably follow FSU more than you, and have never once seen someone say that.

As far as me only posting when someone says something negative, I'd say you probably have selective reading, or you're just stupid.

lol, yours stoopid u poo poo head
From what I've seen Erving can play both C and ORT just fine, that would be the idea of drafting someone like him in the 2nd. You're essentially creating competition at two positions and in reality he would probably replace Pasturz. I have no faith the same group of 5 guys next year is magically going to get better we HAVE to bring in competition on the line.

I don't think we'll waste our second round pick on a centre (and there seem to be a number to choose from). It might not be an area of strength for us at the moment, but Bowanko will almost certainly get another chance next season.
I watched him a bunch this game. He's legit. The middle of that line was solid.
Bowanko has been a nice surprise for a late rounder.  But lets not pretend he is the next Mike Webster.  He is the beneficiary of low expectations right now since he was drafted so late.

I dont think we need to go out and draft a replacement but if a really good player were to fall, I dont think we should hesitate to draft him just because of Bowanko.

I like Erving. Especially if we can pick him up in the 3rd, but he'll probably going 2nd round.

Better than Grasu and Dismukes ?

Due to his ability to play all 5 positions, he is rated higher.
