Quote:why would anyone make a move from a playoff OC to the OC of the Jaguars? Unless you're talking about promoting a position coach which I don't see happening.
Scott Linehan is the only one I can think of, since he's just a passing game coordinator and he doesn't call plays there... and his contract was just 1 year
Quote:He was terrible as Bucs OC and only served as Colts OC for 1 year since 2002. There's a reason he's been a position coach all those years in Indy. Pass.
I'm not sure why you'd say he was terrible. He was OC under Tony Dungy the year before Tampa won the superbowl and had a 9-7 record. Rob Johnson broke Tampa Bay records for passing yards, completions and attempts. It's been widely speculated that Gruden won the superbowl with Dungy's team. They both went to the Colts where David Caldwell served as an area scout. Either way he served as QB coach for Manning and Luck, and also was a WR coach in an elite passing game. Sure, maybe there's a reason he's a position coach, but he doesn't have a bad track record as far as I can see.
