I don't think I could ever root for Ole Miss, even though they occasionally have good players.

Ole Miss offense really tanked once they lost Treadwell.

 

I did think TCU got a raw deal although I can understand the argument to leave them out.  Going from 3rd to 6th in the last rankings was bogus though.  Part of me wants to see them hang 80 on Ole Miss and then for coach Patterson, in the postgame, to tell the committee that they can go screw themselves.

Just shows how over rated ole miss has been all year, should have never been ranked in the top 4 this year. I think miss st loses to GT tonight too.

or maybe TCU really is just this good.  Again, I can understand why they were left out, but they were clearly one of the top teams all year long.  And aside from all this "deserved" nonsense, they probably are one of the four best teams.

That's why we need 8 team playoff.


But losing 42-0 half way through the 3rd quarter is embarrassing. You'd think a top team in the SEC could play with anyone and at least make it a game, no?

Here is the Sr that should be getting a whole lot more love in his draft position.

 

Is this guy an alternative to Denzel Perryman?

 

I got to think so. The man is tough against the run and can cover in space.

 

Apparently Dawson is rated as a 5th Rd selection because he is closer to 5'10" than 6'0" that TCU lists him at.

 

Perryman is said to be 5'11".

 

Dawson is the kind of hybrid LB that could be of interest to Gus on 3rd Downs.

The rumors are being confirmed that Cody Prewitt is a bit over-rated.

 

He could fall out of the top 100 and be available in Rds 4 or 5.

Or is Ole Miss just that bad? Think it has a little to do with both. One team being good and the other simply not.

I'm not a big fan

The Miss. schools will go back to their 4/5 at best finishes in conference I think. They both had seasons that are waaaay beyond what anyone, including themselves expect. Heck, even Arkansas beat Ole Miss 30-0 second to last game of season.
