I wanted to start this here, but it also pertains to our Jags.


When Gus was hired, was Fisch the man or was he more of the best of the available people?


Do some OC/DC get hired but were never even in say top 5 choices?


Do they get fired when say a real choice is available ie, hypothetical Fisch out Trestman in?



Just some questions.

I just get this feeling like Fisch was never really meant to be here, like he was a Clemons/Bryant FA stop gap OC.

The Marc Trestman rumor comes from Gus Bradley saying he has worked with him before. JDR is in Denver because he worked for John Fox at Carolina. He hired Mike Tice in Jacksonville because they were Vikings teammates.

 

I don't know why Bradley hired Jedd Fisch, but I do know why he fired him. From NFL.com:
