Quote:I'll bet the first match up is very exciting to their fans and most of the people that live in those 2 cities.

Only the 2nd time in NFL history that a team with a losing record has made the playoffs, IIRC.

NFL playoffs just 9 hours away and counting down..............................................

In other words, a relatively small number of football fans because there are 30 other teams.

Two 4-5 teams went to the playoffs in 1982, but they both lost. The Seahawks were the first losing team to make it in a 16-game season and the first to win a playoff game.
The wild card round is complete wih the Panthers, Ravens, Colts, and Cowboys moving on. Here is the divisional round schedule:

Saturday, January 10

Ravens at Patriots - 4:30 on NBC

Panthers at Seahawks - 8:15 on FOX

Sunday, January 11

Cowboys at Packers 1:00 on FOX

Colts at Broncos - 4:30 on CBS

I will watch the Ravens/Patriots game on Saturday and both games Sunday.

Who do you think will win this weekend? Who do you want to win?

My picks:

Patriots

Broncos

Seahawks

Packers

I want Peyton Manning to win he's dreamy
All home teams win
Injury reports:

Aaron Rodgers got treatment for his left calf and did not practice, but that was pre-planned and he had no setbacks.

Defensive lineman Star Lotulelei is out with a broken foot. Ron Rivera did not rule out playing in the Super Bowl if the Panthers get there

Panthers wide receiver Corey "Philly" Brown's shoulder is improving, but he only worked on the side in Wednesday's practice.

Cowboys linebacker Rolando McClain has concussion symptoms. It is unknown if he can practice on Friday.

Right tackle Doug Free and linebacker Anthony HItchens sat out practice with ankle injuries. So did Jeremy Mincey, who has a concussion.

Eugene Monroe (ankle) was a limited participant in practice.

Four Patriots were limited in practice: RB LeGarrette Blount (illness), WR Julian Edelman (concussion), RB Jonas Gray (ankle), and WR Brandon LeFell (shoulder/toe).

Stay tuned for updates.

Colts defeat Broncos, Patriots defeat Ravens and then Colts, Seattle destroys Panthers, Packers defeat Cowboys and upset Seattle only to lose to Patriots in the SuperBowl.

The Seahawks own the Packers. That will be a revenge game if Green Bay wins.
I can't wait to watch the Patriots beat the Ravens tomorrow night.
