I guess they have to go back to E.J now.

I thought he was a fairly okay player. Seems like a genuine nice guy. I can imagine him leaving has to do with personal matters.
Orton retired to begin a long career as a raging alcoholic.

Maybe him and Blackmon can hook up in the near future.
Why is this surprising? It is not like Kyle Orton had a short career. The Bills are still not good enough for the playoffs. I would be more surprised if he was on a playoff team.
Surprise retirement?
Didn't he retire last season also? Whatever the case, I'm not real surprised. Fare thee well Neckbeard.
Chad Henne to Bills for their 1st ?

Sad to see him go. Not really a franchise QB, but he was a solid #2 and filibuster.
He was a filibuster?

We want to keep Chad Henne as the backup for one more year, but I would love it if we could get another first rounder without trading down.
kyle orton must be trying to get on a better team again

I actually met Chad Henne as he was leaving the stadium on Monday. I asked if he was going to back next year and he said yes. Really nice guy by the way.....

Kind of did the Cowboys wrong going into camp this past season.
Not that he needs it, but he'll probably make around 100k through the NFL pension after he turns 55. As a journeyman QB, that was probably his objective all along anyway.

<p class="" style="font-size:16px;">Guess who has the highest career passer rating in Bills history ... Jim Kelly? Drew Bledsoe? Nope, it's Kyle Orton.
Maybe the Bills have offered to pay him his salary regardless for next year and he decided to retire!
