He is indeed very close to breaking into the top 4 of CJ, AG, JJ and DB but one year a star does not make.

Mike Evans has also had a great year in my opinion in terms of rookie Wide receivers.

Undoubtedly this will likely go down as the best receiving class ever.
Quote:We could of got Beckham and Carr.  Oh well, hopefully Bortles comes around.

No doubt Beckham Jr. had impressive rookie season, but nobody know before the draft he would be that good this early in his career. And there were a lot of really good WRs in 2014 draft, so he was only 3rd WR taken. But probably he wouldn't have this crazy stats if Buffalo drafted him instead of Watkins (who was considered the best WR before the draft; and still may turn out to be in 3 or 4 years; although Mike Evans is still my favourite) because of worse QB situation or different system. I also really doubt OBJ would have a season like that in Jacksonville.

Bortles was clearly #1 QB (and BPA) on Jaguars draft board. And then you also drafted 2 good to potentially great receivers and added another one in UDFA. If Bortles turns out like you all hope he'll be good with Robinson, Lee, Hurns and maybe Blackmon around him. If not, well, then even OBJ or Calvin Johnson wouldn't help him a lot.

About OBJ being the best receiver in the league? I don't think so. Let's see first if he can consistently play like this over the next few seasons like Megatron and some other receivers. For now, I would still take Megatron over any WR.
