We could use upgrades just about everywhere but we NEED an offensive line very badly and a running back that can help block.

We are a perennial loser, but we really aren't that far away from being competitive. The offensive coordinator needs to go, and we need a better pass rush and offensive line. Through free agency (especially given we have so much cap room) and a high draft pick are good reasons to be excited for next season. I think we could be a .500 team next season if we're aggressive and keep trying to make positive changes that NEED to be made.

3rd and especially 4th down throws are inexcusable! You HAVE to keep the ball in play. On 4th down what is the worst that could happen??? An int..... Really, you turn the ball over and lose the game anyway. Terrible above the shoulders. Inexcusable.

and tight ends and linebackers and safeties, and maybe a new field goal holder. Then we will be set. The future is bright.

Every year brings hope, but we really aren't that close to being competitive. We need more talent and have to hope our existing talent keeps improving. Even then I'd bet we need two more drafts.

until that happens, people have every right to be negative. In fact, being positive for this team could also be called "having blind faith" because they're not showing us that it'll get better.
