I personally wouldn't mind if they drafted Oline with 2 out of our first three picks, and sign a FA or two.
I'm feeling the Scherff love increasing around here.

I need to watch tape on him. But, assuming we don't do anything in FA, I am cautiously optimistic.

It's called desperation
Building the oline with highly rated oline prospects has payed off for Dallas
This was Scherff's bad game i believe

I'd take him too. He's the best OL in the draft. I can only imagine what we might have had if we kept Monroe and drafted Sherff with Joeckel too. I still have hope Joeckel will get it together next year as he matures into the NFL.

Considering we currently own the #3 pick with expectation of Tampa taking Mariota, Tennessee taking Winston, then Sherff could be ours. We must, absolutely must, draft protection for BB or otherwise gamble on him getting killed or ruined.

I dont know if Schrerff would be our best bet at tackle, if we needed a guard yes..  Im kinda leaning towards Ereck Flowers or Ronnie Stanley to take over at RT if we cant get one in free agency.  Scherff might be solid at RT but would rather go a different direction with our first pick.  I think we need a better pass protector at RT which is why I would go with Stanley who has longer arms and is also solid in the run game.   Stanley held his own earlier in the year against Leonard Williams.   Stanley much better on his feet than Scherff and the better pass blocker

at this point im kinda hoping andrus peat falls down to the middle of the first and we can trade down and get him as well as some other value.

Agreed on all accounts.  Schreff has the build of a guard and can likely succeed at that position more than at tackle since he seems to operate better in tighter spaces.

Flowers in the 2nd and getting a guy like Gregory in the first would improve this team a lot IMO.
He looks slow with no agility
What an absolute animal. Sure RT is not a sexy pick but wow that could help us significantly.

As someone above mentioned, the drawback with this guy is arm length. He is extremely aggressive but sometimes arm length can make you lose the edge in the NFL.

Yeah, if we want the top pass protect guy at the tackle.  I don't think it will be Scherff will be the guy.
Between FS, OT, TE, I really hope we can fill 2 of the 3 positions through free agency.  It would make the draft so much easier and we have the cap space to do it.

I agree with that. I think we are going to make a big play for Demarius Thomas in FA this year, cause the draft is very weak for tight ends. Then I expect us to go OT or DE, with an option for safety if we trade back.

I dont think Denver let Demarius get away.  I think its a bigger chance we make a play at Julious Thomas.

That's what I meant, my bad.
Does anyone else think the offence (OL included, obviously) will be upgraded through FA? With it already being an historically inexperienced unit, maybe some veteran presence is needed. I was thinking about this recently, trying to brainstorm ideas for how the offseason will turn out.

Julius Thomas and Brian Bulaga could both be pretty big targets in Free Agency for the team.

Other big names out there on the offensive side are guys like Demarco Murray, C.J. Spiller, Torrey Smith, Randall Cobb, etc.

Defensively,  McCourty and Moore could be targets also.
