It depends on how you look at it.  Let's take Bradly Manning as an example.  This is a male that "identifies" as a female.  If he "identifies" as a female and is attracted to females that makes him gay, even if he doesn't go through with the hardware removal.  That would actually make him a transvestite more than anything.

 

Now consider if he does go through with the hardware removal.  If he's attracted to females that is still gay because it would be a "female" with a female.  If he's attracted to males it would still make him gay since he's still biologically a male without his parts.

Just demonstrating that the pc term for gay people (LGBT) needs to go away.  We already have a word for that.  GAY  (Actually there are other words, but they are not suitible to use on a "family oriented" message board).

It is incredibly condescending to assign these false definitions about a group of people you clearly have never interacted with just because it is the only way you can rationalize in your very narrow mind why someone is LGBT.

I happen to have family members who are gay as well as friends who are gay and worked with people who are gay.  When I brought up the same rational to them they agreed.

How did that whole conversation you had with your family member and co workers go about how they already had all the same rights as straight people and didn't need equality? Surely that came up.

That would be nice, but the definition of human rights is a pawn in their strategy as well. Anything lefty wants becomes a matter of fundamental human rights, because anything princess wants Big Daddy Gub'ment better give her.
