Am I the only one that used to appreciate all the Jags media coaverage but now I find myself barely watching it because it's not that credible. Most of it seems like overhyped rainbows and unicorns.
Quote:There's always the Jaguars message board where the madden experts can tell you what's REALLY going on....
Quote:For the knee jerk fan on this message board that wants a new coach, new players, new stadium, cheaper beer, cooler temperatures, a dome, the old man in front of them to sit down at the game, etc, etc...ya, it is annoying!

Quote:We want improvement from what we have seen the last four years. It's not there. Should we just lean back in our chairs, put out hands behind our head, chill and hope for the best.At this point, I would say yes. Look, it sucks and I feel like I waste money every year on S.T. and I don't even live in the state or attend more than two games a year, but how many times do we blow this thing up and expect instant results? It doesn't work that way. This thing has been flipped upside down three times in the last 4-5 years. Record aside, there are improvements and a fundamental base to build on. You can't win the race if you keep going back to the starting line to start over.
Quote:2014: 2-8How many times since that 2010 record has there been a new head coach, coaching staff, play book, players, etc? Maybe if we blow it up yet again will gain a few wins!
2013: 4-12
2012: 2-14
2011: 5-11
2010: 8-8
It's really hard to say that fans are "knee jerking", when they've had to endure 5 seasons of downward spiraling football.. What's annoying is this team not winning games..

Quote:Nope, you can't win a race if you keep going back to the starting line.. You also can't shoot a deer with blanks..
The idea is to not to blown everything up, but to keep getting better every year at all phases of the game, and if that includes coaches and a GM, then so be it. Personally? I'd rather have a butthead coach that coaches a playoff team than a player's type of coach at 2-14.. Not saying that Gus isn't the man, but he's not off to a very hot start for his coaching career..
What it boils down to, I think, Is people don't give a rats [BLEEP] about coaches, GM's or players.. They want wins, and more than 2-4 a year..
