Seems like the games gonna go to whomever scores last right now!

Who would have guessed this would be a shootout.

 

Last week though UGA did the exact same thing.  They were moving the ball at will on Tech in the first half.  But they kept fumbling at the goaline.  Without those 2 fumbles at the one, that game shoudl have been 21-0 at half and realistically the game would have been over.  Tech isnt lucking out tonight.  FSU isnt coughing the ball up unexpectedly.  Tech's only real chance of winning was being able to control the clock, score TDs when they get drives going, and to have FSU make mistakes on offense.  Tech's offense is doing their part.  But FSU isn't making mistakes.

Jameis has looked the best he has all year.

I think the committee is praying GaTech can pull off this upset so they arent obligated to take FSU over Ohio St or Baylor.

I'm probably in the minority but I liked the way things were with the BCS. I'm with Bobby Bowen when it comes to the playoffs. Who cares about team #3 and team #4. After the big game is over nobody's even gonna care about the #2 team.

If the BCS was around this year FSU would be #1 Alabama would be # 2 and there's your 2 best teams.

And I'm not for that. There are plenty of teams that deserve an opportunity. All conference champions from the big 5 and 3 wild card bids. Play it on the field. The out of conference schedules for most teams is a joke. You don't know until the play.

The real question is should the Big 12 be shut out because of Ohio State?

Definitely. What was the NCAA thinking when it decided to have only four teams the first 12 years? Two Big 12 teams or one Big 12 and one Big Ten team will get shut out because the playoffs are only for two bowls.

They are ridiculously conservative and lack balls to do something bold.

That's my preferred set up too. Would the selection process for the wildcard teams be the same as the top 4?

Good win for fsu BTW. I didn't think they would make it past GT

GT defense was pretty horrible. No pass rush whatsoever.
