The biggest issue is they've lost over 50 players already. Their coach is still under contract. But it will be hard to recover from a self imposed death penalty.

I was thinking about that earlier. They're more or less going to have to start from scratch. Build a whole new program from the ground up.

Im glad they are bringing the program back, but how on God's earth were they able to raise over 20 million in 6 months?

Without knowing specifics, my guess is they will load up on graduate transfers that can play right away or guys maybe that get released from larger SEC schools. Otherwise it will be a slow build.

It would be cool to see a bunch of guys who transerred to another school come back next season and play for UAB. I am sure the NCAA wouldn't allow that though, even given the circumstances.
