Will be a fun weekend to watch some games. Over/Under on upsets?
FSU starts off at -4 against Georgia Tech. I hate having to play Georgia Tech and that offense.
I think Arizona will beat Oregon. Arizona was more physical than Oregon in the first matchup, and recent history has shown that if a team comes out and punches Oregon in the mouth, they back down. Plus Oregon struggles against the 4-2-5 defense.

Go Jackets
I actually think Oregon pulls this one out. The offensive line is healthier than they were the first go around.
Mariota is playing better coincidentally.
He couldn't get past the line and had no time to throw the first matchup, I think that will make the difference.

A week to prepare for Ga Tech is tough.

Luckily we already played one team this year that ran this offense. The only problem is Georgia Tech runs it probably 100x better.
But it helps that our DC used to be the DC at Tech.

Better athletes at the skill spots and a better QB. The passing game is pretty good for a true triple team.
It's not knowing the scheme, it's having disciplined players do their jobs successfully and over the course of the game.
Big news is that GT's top receiver is (almost certainly) out for the FSU game. Smelter has 35 of their 91 receptions on the year, 715 of their 1623 receiving yards, and 7 of their 17 receiving TDs.
Still not looking forward to playing the Yellow Jackets, but I'm much less worried about FSU getting too focused on the run and getting burned deep like they did against Auburn a few times.
Also, FSU's depth at DT has looked better recently because their young backups have finally been getting it. People see a few key players returned and the stat flashed on all FSU broadcasts about 40+ starts for those O-Lineman and don't realize how young FSU has been. Their 2-deep on offense includes 7 first or second year players (FR, RS FR, & SO). Their 2-deep on defense includes 9 such players. Call me cautiously optimistic about this game. We're getting healthy and our weaknesses have been improving if you know where to look. Now we just need Jameis and Green to return to the form they've had for most of their careers.

And he's averaging 20ypc. That hurts.
I actually like him a lot as a strong wr who can make some plays in the NFL. If he was there in the fourth round or so I wouldn't hate the jaguars grabbing him.
But he will prob go by end of rd 3

There have been some good wr's out of Ga Tech...it always amazes me that a wr would go to that school, even if they weren't highly recruited. I guess if they keep putting them in the NFL they can keep pulling them.

If you're not highly recruited, then you take what you can get. Its not like GT is a bad school, far from it (not that these kids look at academics). That said, GT seems to lock down the big/tall WR mold and those are the only ones that come out of that program as WRs. They got Megatron and DT, but Hill has been a bust.
Anybody here think Missouri has a shot at pulling an upset on Alabama after they have had 3 big emotional games out of the past 4?
They've trailed in the 4th quarter against 4-loss LSU and 4-loss Auburn in that stretch. Personally I don't think Bama loses, but I'm a little bit surprised how unanimous that feeling seems to be.

Not I. Bama rolls I think.

Very doubtful....that Bama/Auburn game was a beauty to watch. Bama played terribly in the first half and turned it on in the second. I realize they only win because they fear the wrath of Saban, but it was impressive.

if blake sims plays awful like he did most of that game, compounded with the pressure mizzou can get on the qb, then its possible, for sure, but i expect bama to win by 14+

Best play of the Bama/Auburn game was Kiffin throwing his hands in the air before the ball was even thrown. He knew it was coming....he's a jerk, but that was funny.
If Mizzou still had Green-Beckham, I'd say they might have a shot.
