Quote:You see Peyton Manning as "light on his feet?"

In his older years he may not be the most mobile QB, however, if you watch him, he is constantly shuffling his feet to position his body for a throw.  So yes, for the purpose of throwing mechanics, Manning is light on his feet.  BB's feet are very stationary on a lot of throws.
Quote:When I say heavy feet I am referring to when BB drops back his feet look like they're stuck in concrete.  If you watch Brady, Manning, Rivers, Brees, etc. they are all very light on their feet so they can quickly turn/move their body to make a throw.  BB looks very statuesque right now.

I can see where you are coming from, Blake has big thighs, and is a bid dude. He is good at shaking off tacklers and rolling out of trouble after rushers comes at him high.

He is compared a lot to Rothlisberger, but he looks more like Dan Fouts(not saying he is Dan fouts), but same body style and movements like when running. You can see him make tacklers miss if they aim center mass, but if they go low they get him, he isn't the type to "skip" his way out of a lower leg tackle, like Brady, Rivers, Brees or even Rothlisberger.

The thing is that Big Ben has more time to throw.  I saw on more than one occasion Blake would make not one but even two guys miss only to have the third Defensive lineman tackle him.  It was as if the entire Oline gave up after one lineman went by.

Love: The foundation that is being built, the work ethic, young talent, and the overall vision/direction this team is going.

Hate: The spiraling out of control special teams, play calling, and overall desperate style of coaching. Anyone ever heard of film and game planning!?
Like...Defense, Shoestring, Hurns, Bortles...

Dislike...O-Line Coach, Strength Coach...Seems like the O-Lines always getting beaten and overpowered up in the trenches.

Love: Comeback win at home

Hate: Gainesville's Fox station

Quote:The I feel they could do better list but still make the team if they showed the effort but might need to restructure contracts;

CB McCray, DT Roy Miller & DT Ziggy Hood, RB Shoelace, DT/DE Tyson Alualu,TE Lewis (almost made my hate list along with Tyson but if they restructured their contracts to much lower they do play well at times),

McCray?? Also, what's your issue with shoelace and or his contract? He was signed as a 5th round pick.
Shoestring...  LOL

Oh add that mustache on the dude calling the game as part of my hate list.

Love: My Jags

Hate: Armchair GM's & Coaches thinking that Bortles needs to look like an Irish River Dancer before he slings the ball....

Hey, that riverdance guy is amazing.  And that one red head that is always with him is very very talented.

I rest my case
Ok, you got me....Dance on Sir Bortles.... Dance on !!

In the last few weeks he has shown signs of possibly being the player they had hoped for last year.

My problem is he kept fumbling, dropping passes, getting stuffed as soon as he got the bal to run, and when he would do good he would do something stupid to mess it up like that fumble at the endzone last year.

I just felt that Fisch had tried everything to make D-Rob a star, yet he kept screwing up...

I hope for the team and his sake that he can finally get it together as a RB, but as many other fans have mentioned that they want a real RB I wonder how long he will be on the team in the future...

Basically he shows flashes that gets you all excited and then regresses... its a big let down.

Hate is indeed a pretty strong word. I don't know that I would say I hate anyone on the team. I would however say that I resent individuals who are fortunate enough to be given a chance to play professional football and get paid big bucks doing it.... and then go squander the opportunity... as well as their life, with drugs and alcohol and throw it away. The Jags have had too many in that catagory over the years.

Love: driving home in traffic after a Jaguar game.

Hate: driving home in no traffic after a Jaguar game.

Nice.
On the other hand, love is also a pretty strong word. I enjoy watching football, and I especially enjoy watching the Jags (even if I get vocal about them not meeting my expectations). I really like watching a physically smaller guy 'lay the wood' on a ball carrier. I can't remember who it was, but I saw one of our rookies lay just an outstanding 'text book' tackle on the giants ball carrier early in the game. Good stuff...

Getting home at 6 wasn't too bad

Manning's feet aren't light, they're happy.
