It is that time again. What are your predictions for the division winners and wild cards in both conferences?
The current division leaders are:
American
North: Bengals (8-3-1)
East: Patriots (9-3)
South: Colts (8-4)
West: Broncos (9-3)
National
North: Packers (9-3)
East: Eagles (9-3)
South: Falcons (5-7)
West: Cardinals (9-3)
I like in the AFC
Broncos
Patriots
Ravens
Colts
wild cards
Steelers
Texans
hoping for Buffalo to get in.
In the NFC
Packers
Eagles
Seahawks
Saints
Wild cards
Lions
Cowboys
I feel the Cardinals might be dead in the water.
Right now I'd guess a Denver vs green bay Superbowl.
If the packers o line can give Rodgers time like they gave him tonight...that offense will be just as good as Denver, and I would love to see them square off.
Messing with ESPN's playoff machine my results came out
Pats/Broncos with KC/Indy/Phins and Steelers for the AFC.
Packers and Philly take top spot in NFC with Lions/Seahawks and Cards and Saints.
But thankfully anything can happen. I did have Green Bay over the Patriots in the Super Bowl which both are still in it but I'm not sure...
Now teams can start to clinch playoff spots in both conferences. So far only the Redskins, Giants, Bears, and Bears in the NFC and Titans, Jets, Raiders, and Jaguars in the AFC have been eliminated.
NFC: It is basically "win and in" for the Cardinals, who just don't want the Cowboys and Eagles to tie. The Packers are rooting for the Eagles and must own the strength of victory tiebreaker over the Cowboys to clinch a playoff spot Sunday.
AFC: The Patriots, Broncos, and Colts all win their respective divisions by winning Sunday - no help needed. With a lot of help, the Broncos and Patriots can also clinch a first round bye or clinch a playoff spot without winning the division.
