A president can raise fuel prices through regulations and taxes (and lower them through the elimination of same). He doesn't have much say in the price of oil, which is the main driver behind fuel prices. So yeah, I mostly agree with you, Trump won't have much effect on fuel prices.

Supply and demand. It's that simple. Liberals have over-regulated the industry to the point that US companies stopped bothering. The other countries moved in on many of those areas.
But let me guess. They are going to sell us the product cheaper, right? Oh, I'm sure they will follow those US regulations just to be nice too.
