Quote:Gruden did have some success developing veteran QBs; Rich Gannon, Brad Johnson, Jeff Garcia.  He was never able to do the same with a young QB.

I think Brad Johnson and Jeff Garcia had already completed development by the time Gruden got them.
Quote:Never happening. He doesn't want to coach. ESPN is easy money.

Money talks. Make a big enough offer and he'll come.

Also, Gruden likes Florida and would probably welcome the challenge of developing Bortles.

Quote:That would never happen... if he's not HC here, then he's not here. This isn't a demotion league.

I hate when people say stuff like this. Money isn't everything. There are plenty of coaches completely set on money.

Peyton manning is set on money. Why is he still playing?

Its competitive drive. Its taking on challenges and trying to compete.

If he gets the itch...we could see him back on the sideline.
Nah, get Muschamp in here as DC. Couldn't possibly make the situation any worse amirite?!

muschamp as DC would be a terrific hire. he is a great defensive coach.

he just isnt good at pretty much any offensive aspect and clock management.
I wouldnt worry about that,

One I dont think Gus will be fired not this year at least... probably not next year either.... (as I am hoping the team will go .500 or better next season)

The other reason being if Gus is fired, its doubtful that the GM nor new HC would want him to remain as the DC (nor would Gus want that either after being fired)...
