Over/under on when they move back to SD?? Hahaha

Biggest things for them now is keeping Melvin Ingram and Jahleel Addae.
If they can somehow manage that and snag Malik Hooker in the draft theyll be set up really well to hit the ground running on this defense.

Chargers draft Hooker and singn Cyp, book it

Gus isn't even a good defensive coordinator, he doesn't belong in the NFL. I guarantee the Jags offense murders the Chargers defense when they come to Everbank.

Yet the NFL coaches and executives had him as the most coveted DC available.

If it's up to some NFL owners, the latter can't happen soon enough.

As for Gus Bradley, it will be interesting to see if he decides to tailor the Chargers Defense to the talent they have or will he try to put square pegs in round holes in order to run his beloved Defensive scheme?

Another reason LA might not last as a 2 team market. LOL

Yeaaaaa you might be in for a wake up call. Dude might not be a good head coach, but he is most definitely a sharp football mind. No one who has worked with him has ever said otherwise.

Yup, love all the rewriting of history.
Ok not to like someone, ok not to like his tenure here as HC.
That doesn't mean we can now be dishonest about his history at other coaching positions.

I read Gus Bradley was the favorite for the Redskins job when they interviewed him. How did he not get it before his interview with the Chargers?
Quote:I don't know why anyone would want to go work in San Fran with the personnel they have.
The fact that two coaches (Josh McDaniels and Tom Cable) pulled out after their interviews with the 49ers is a big red flag. McDaniels reportedly was a tossup with Kyle Shanahan on San Francisco's favorites list. The only reason they are waiting for Shanahan is incompetent ownership gave their other candidates a reason not to want the job.

The Redskins might have wanted to interview more candidates. Gus Bradley might have wanted to talk to the Chargers before making a decision.

Understandably, Gus Bradley's services as an Assistant Coach have been in demand.
