Not only that, he smoked Morley cigarettes and was a main participant in an alien dissection. Not the first time.
This is insane. Why did he wait so long to confess? And how was another man who was not involved at all identified as the killer?
Of course, the mystery is not solved yet. They need to find out what the motive was for claiming he did it.

Because this guy is lying. There was no gunman on the grassy knoll. Every credible forensic investigation came to the same conclusion: Oswald fired three shots from the Book Depository, two of which hit Kennedy, the third being the fatal one. Not a single piece of forensic evidence points to a gunman on the grassy knoll, or even a spectator near where the gunman was alleged have been standing.

So why does anybody think there is credible evidence to back up this story? And why would Files make up such a lie if everyone knows it is not true?

You watched the Zapruder film and came to that conclusion? Wow. Interesting.
I searched "President Kennedy assassination" and found some interesting information about the ongoing mystery.
The truth is regardless of what you may have heard or read, no one knows if Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone or with someone else. There are different beliefs about everything.
The Kennedy Assassination is a passion of mine. I have over 40 books on the subject, including one by Bill Bonanno "Bound By Honor" (The Godfather Movie subject) who claims Johnny Roselli of the Chicago Mafia fired the fatal shot from a storm drain on Elm street as told to him when both were in prison.
Look, the Mannlicher-Carcano rifle used by Oswald was Italian made in the early 1900s considered so inaccurate a weapon the Italian Army wouldn't purchase it. Other witnesses took pictures of the slaying as well which were confiscated by the FBI.
It's pretty much concluded by experts there was more than one gunman. I agree.
I could talk for hours on this subject.

Issac Newton's 1st and 3rd laws disagree.

So could I. Which means were're both loons, probably.
I go for the most radical theory out there - Oswald acted alone.
I think it's quite clear that all these theories have a lot of holes in them, depending on the theory.
I wish all the CTers would meet at a convention center somewhere and once and for all take a vote among the 575 theories floating out there so we could have one solid theory to deal with.

Not at all. There is nothing particularly mysterious about what DragonFury has said. It's pretty basic stuff.

What do Newton's laws of motion have to do with Oswald's behavior on the grassy knoll?

Actually there is something very mysterious about what Dragon said: How does anyone know the whole story is a lie?

Arguably the most widely disputed set of circumstances and alleged facts in US history, yet you find nothing mysterious in the theory that is was one man, acting alone?
Quote:What do Newton's laws of motion have to do with Oswald's behavior on the grassy knoll?
Oswald wasn't on the grassy knoll.
Quote:Oswald wasn't on the grassy knoll.
That still has nothing to do with the laws of motion.
You know what's weird? I never heard or read the term "grassy knoll" in any other story. Maybe it is just me, but it seems like people only use it when discussing the Kennedy assassination.

"Grassy knoll" refers to a specific physical location in Dealey Plaza and is believed by some to be the spot from which a second gunman fired at Kennedy.

According to Wikipedia, five witnesses reported hearing gunshots from different directions. That explains the belief Oswald did not act alone.

As someone who actually knows Newton's laws and how they work; no they don't.

Witness testimony is notoriously inaccurate, especially when concerning gunshots in a spot like Deeley placa where sound can bounce around multiple times.
