are still being calculated just for the fun of it... (well as closely as possible since some of the inputs have changed slightly)  At the end of the day there was nothing special about it.  Just a weighted average of two polls and various ranking systems that have been getting produced for years if not decades.  So it is easy to calculate.

Ironically the top 4 teams in the old BCS are the top 4 teams the committee has.  Who needs the committee!?

Sagarin rankings have Oklahoma over FSU...lol

The difference between 4 and 5 is pretty significant.

The Sagarin ranking is horrific.

Sagarin's BCS rating was the Elo-Chess component of his overall ranking. His overall ranking uses margin of victory which was impermissible in the BCS.

Sagarin's Elo-Chess:

1) Alabama

2) Oregon

3) Baylor

4) Mississippi State

5) Florida State

6) Mississippi

7) Auburn

8) Georgia

9) TCU

10) Ohio State

11) Oklahoma

12) UCLA

13) Kansas State

14) Michigan State

15) Texas A&M

16) LSU

17) Wisconsin

18) Missouri

19) Arizona State

20) Southern California

21) Marshall

22) Clemson

23) Nebraska

24) Arizona

25) Utah

As you can see, quite different. Margin of victory has not been kind to FSU this year.
