This was the scene in Buffalo NY yesterday. Buffalo, New York has set a new record; 76 inches of snow! The most snowfall EVER in a 24-hour period in the US!!

Does it come down that fast? Those people are driving and then there's to much to drive through?
From what I read, the snow was coming in off the lake in the form of drifts which makes for faster accumulation.

I remember being up in NYC not too long ago when one of these events happen, I just try to make it to my family's house soon as possible. 2-3 inches in snow drifts can accumulate in as little at 45 minutes.

Noone needs to be on the road at all.

I would be surprised if the NFL cancels the Jets/Bills game,

This weather is crazy! On Tuesday all 50 states hit below freezing!! I didn't know it could get that cold in Hawaii!!!

You can snow ski on the big Island at the top of Mauna Kea.

Wow...I had no idea!!
Yeah, Buffalo is super bad right noe and the snow is still falling. Then it's supposed to be 40's and 50's Saturday-Monday so we're going to have flooding.

It's a huge mess.
I saw a picture of the stadium. Snow was halfway up to the crossbars before people started shoveling. Now it is unclear if the Browns can play there on December 1.

Wow, I thought Orchard Park was hit the worst.

You have to wonder how many people rode snowmobiles after reading about players needing them to fly out.

I like snow, but not THAT much. My husband's aunt lives in western NY and she left last Tuesday to go back home and was redirected to FL from Raleigh, NC. I still haven't heard if she's gotten home yet.

She probably hasn't. The Bills were lucky they could fly to Detroit.

I did finally hear from her and she did get home.
Here's a recent pic of the stadium in Buffalo
