Exactly. You can have the kind not necessarily based on fact or knowledge (your kind - pulling stuff out of your butt) or the kind that is based on fact or knowledge (such as usually offered by someone like D6).

 

I think I now know why we have the kind of politicians we do. Thanks for clearing that up.

Here's an example:


Fact: Man kills another man

Opinion: He deserved it.


The fact of him being dead does not prove the opinion that he deserved to die.

 

Would any reason in the world change it from being an OPINION, he deserved it, to being a FACT that he deserved it?

 

Any reason at all, like he had just killed the man's entire family, including 3 children, 2 babies and 3 small dogs just because he wanted to see what it was like to kill an entire family?

 

Or is there nothing in the world that can change an opinion into a fact?

You should have searched a little harder, you might have found a word that actually applied. I'm sure you will do better next time...hopefully.

So that would mean the opinion he stated was really a fact after all.

 

Was it an opinion because he just happened to state it too early? Maybe it was a pre-fact.
