I didn't mind them too much when they were an average team and their fans kept quiet. Now their fans are obnoxious as ever and that isn't going to fly by me.

Maybe, but it is nothing compared to 1,000's of threads about one guy for years after the guy isn't even playing for said college team. We aren't arguing over fans being obnoxious. It's the level of obnoxiousness and gator fans set the bar really really high.

There will always be a level of obnoxious with fans when their team has sustained success. Look at Alabama fans who were upset earlier in the year when their team wasn't winning by 4 TDs.
