I don't think the Colts will be able to run the ball due to Trent Richardson's incompetence as a RB, that should make them one dimensional,

Sorry,, I have to disagree with this.

Trent Richardson will have a very good day against the Jags.

Have you not seen the Jags run defense of the past couple weeks?

-Rookie Jeremy Hill of Cincy went off in his first ever start.

- Cowboys RBs made the Jags look completely ridiculous.

I'm hoping maybe the bye week straightened out Cyprien and some other guys who are taking terrible angles. I'm also hoping the bye week helped straightened out the missed tackling. But, I'm not holding my breath.

Jags run defense will make Trent Richardson,, yes, even Trent Richardson,, look like a stud.

You're vastly overestimating the colts o-line and lil' trent.

The Cincy and Cowboys o-lines are a couple of the best in the league, and their backs have proven to be pretty good, too.

The colts don't have that level of run-blocking and trent is a lower middle of the pack guy at best.

If he gets to 75 yards against the Jaguars I'd say he's having a great day for him.

I hope no one is worried about the Colts run game.

It's Luck, Hilton, Wayne, Fleener and Nicks we need to focus on. If Cyp can't cover Fleener and we can't contain Hilton, this game will be over quick.

75yds for Richardson would be very good for him,, I agree. But, I predict he gets over 100yds and maybe a TD.

Colts will throw early. But, if they manage to get up on the Jags by a couple scores,, I see them running it and the Jags not being able to stop it (not able to stop even Richardson).

Richardson actually had some good runs vs the Jags in the first game this year. And that was with a healthy Poz in the lineup.

He had 57 yards in the first meeting on 14 carries and 27 of the yards came on one very poorly defended run.

Maybe the Jaguars continue their pre-bye swoon in their gap integrity, but my guess is they go back to basics this week in a lot of ways and play more soundly against the colts from an assignment perspective.

Richardson doesn't make people miss, I expect he'll end up south of 3 YPC.

I hope you're right, and they do get back to basics and play more soundly. The loss of Poz in run defense really hurts. They're gonna have to prove it to me though. So, I'll stick with the prediction of run defense being terrible again.

Hope I'm wrong.
Gabbert outgunned Luck. I'm not afraid
I do believe we can beat the colts. Just need to play safer.

Quote:Their weaknesses and our strengths line up. The patriots used 6 OL on 50% of their plays last night, and just moved them off the ball consistently. With Marcades and Linder coming back, just ride Denard and take PA shots to limit Bortles' mistakes.

They will get theirs when they have the ball, but our front is enough to trouble their shaky OL. Bradshaw is hurt so they have nothing in the running game. If they are one dimensional we have a decent chance.

I think I have only predicted 2 wins so far this season, but Im making my 3rd right now.

Denard 150 yards 2TDs

Bortles 225 yards 1 TD 1 INT

24-17 Jags.
For the record, EVERYONE is beatable. Before the game, what were the odds of the Rams beating the Broncos? In today's NFL, any given day one team can beat the another....regardless of records. It happens. Can the Jags beat the Colts? of course, will they? Not likely but we can always hold onto that any given day thing can't we. At this point, records mean nothing so if we see pockets of REAL DRAMATIC improvement, that's something to smile about. Honestly, (if) the jags keep forward motion, they are still a year (probably at least 2) from even being a team others will fear.
I see the Clots in a downward slide. WE CAN WIN THIS WEEK.

Yep, while the colts are beatable, the Jags are even more beatable.

In fact, the Jags are so beatable, they even beat themselves when they play, the other team just gets the credit.

This just means the Jags already used their "any given Sunday" against the clots.
I will be at this game. Pretty excited

The buildup to a Jags game, waiting for game day to get here, the pre-game tailgating, eating talking football all can be pretty fun and exciting.

Now it's time for the Jags to do some exciting things on the field.
Id be exstactic if they pulled off the upset.

Dude if we can't hold the Cowboys back from scoring 31.... How are we gonna hold the Colts to 17

Aaron Colvin better be a shut down corner or something because that's not gonna happen otherwise

Denard will get 100+, and no doubt Bradley will try to control the clock. But at some point, just like every game so far, the FG's won't be enough and we're gonna have to throw downfield to keep up. Just gotta hope Bortles can be smarter about it than he was a couple weeks ago.

I'm not exactly sure what "exstactic" means, but I would sure like to see it, I think...........
Quote:Of course the Colts are beatable; they’re not a very good football team, that QB hides a lot of the deficiencies on that team. They don't run the ball well, they can't stop the run, they don't rush the passer, and they don't protect the passer, I believe Luck has been hit more than any other QB in football this year. If the Jaguars play a turnover free game, they have a chance, if not; we'll lose by double digits.

Chad Henne was hit more in the Redskins game than most qbs get hit in 6-8 games lol
Our weakness is pass defense, which means Luck will throw 50 times, complete 49 passes, and score 4 TDs.

#1 weakness to the Jaguars Defense is the pass, and the Colts strength is the pass.  That spells disaster for the Jaguars.  The team is good at getting pressure thanks to Marks having a probowl year, but with bad DBs and a weak LB core with Poz gone Luck will light it up.  Hopefully Gus gives Tevlin Smith more playing time, the rookie has proven he should be a starter.
