lol @ BigJohn with his homer shades on

learn the game buddy

UM's whole offensive plan switched in the 2nd half and it cost them the game

Quote:they adjusted to have a ball batted 5 feet in the air and land perfectly in Carlos William's arms? They game planned for the Miami TE to fumble after a 30+ yard gain?

Every good team has some luck on their side. Don't act like UF didn't catch any lucky breaks in 06 or 08.

Ok, buddy.

Every week FSU kicks the hell out of the other team in the second half. It's lucky for them the other team always lets up so they can come back and win. Rolleyes
you dudes need everything explained to you like my kids

look, no one is taking anything away from FSU. they won. congrats.

but lets not act like UM's philosophy in teh 2nd didnt help contribute

Listen guys FSU is the worse undefeated team ever to play college football.

They didnt play anybody ranked this season.

The team they beat for the NC last season wasnt even all that good.

enlighten us and please let us know what UM's philosophy in the 2nd half was?

And while you're at it, please let us know what UM's philosophy in the 1st half was?

Also, how did you come to this conclusion?

I saw FSU just flat-out play better.  Blocked better, tackled better, ran better - which is the reason they won.  If the game lasted 6 quarters, they would've blown the socks off of the Canes - because they were clicking, Cook was doing great, and the defense figured out how to stop Miami.

you guys are a joke! even the announcers talked about the entire second half how miami went into "play not to lose mode."

they were showing infographics about how the first and second down passing in the second half dropped drastically from the first half. they talked about how they went into a conservative offense like some other teams that have had the lead against FSU have done this year. they talked about how they disagreed with it and that miami needed to play like they did in the first half and take some risks.

i saw it. other people on this board saw it. other people i work with saw it. the announcers saw it. the only people who didnt see it are FSU fans. weird.

This is the most hilarious thing I have seen.

So if Miami would have a true freshman in Kaaka playing aggressive to the point where he makes mistakes and cost the team the game, you would have blamed him and the team for not playing more conservative being they had Duke and a good running game right?

If Mississippi State came back to beat Alabama, they'd be credited for "digging deep" and fighting back to win.

nothing you said actually disputes anything that i said. youre completely disregarding it. your argument was that didnt happen, now youre just saying that its good that it didnt happen because they had a freshman qb.

and just to answer that.... it didnt stop kaaya in the first half when they were laying the beat down on fsu, so why stop in the second half....look what happened.

lol Alabama is actually good.  not Louisville or Miami

Quote:the refs handed FSU the game in the end. they missed multiple holding calls

but ultimately, Miami gave FSU the game after they eased up in the 2nd half

FSU is not a good team
This the first game you've seen FSU play this year? They are a second half team this year. It wasn't Miami letting up, it was adjustments made by FSU, something they have done all year. But whatever makes you feels better at the end of the day I guess. 26-0 and counting....haters gonna hate but Noles will just keep on winning.
You guys are funny. So much hatred for an FSU team that just wins every game they play. Adjustments....learn the game yourselves. Every team makes them at halftime, Jimbo is just a lot better than anyone else in the nation at this time. FSU has done this ALL year. Teams throw little wrinkles in their game plans just for the Noles. The Miami game was no different. Miami did try to come out and execute in the second half but due to FSU adjustments they were held to only 3 points. If you watch the game you will notice that FSU started blitzing the young freshman QB in the second half. He got rattled and it changed the offensive production. Miami's very first play to start the second half was a pass play...incomplete. Its called adjustments.

They ran 15 passing plays and 21 run plays in the first half....the half you guys claim the offense was "playing to win" compared to a second half where they ran 16 passing plays and 19 runs. Numbers don't lie. Looks to me Miami came out trying to run the same offense....they just couldn't execute it as well because of the adjustments made by FSU. I get it though....so frustrating watching a game your hoping desperately the Noles will lose, only to be disappointed again. Haters gonna hate....Noles just keep on winning. 26-0 and counting. Smile

back to back posts, that boy mad

Miami relying on their best player in Duke Johnson in the 2nd half is "playing not to lose".... alright.....  It's a normal strategy, it just didn't work against FSU.

Don't flatter yourself. Teams have "little wrinkles" for every game. Not just FSU, you serious with that?

I wasnt trying to dispute it, I was pointing out the possible hypocrisy, if that scenario happened.

FSU made the proper adjustments at halftime bottom line.

The bottom line is you're wrong.
