They print out a logo on a flag, ship out some t-shirts that most people apparently never get in the mail and they act like they run the world.

Wow! BCB is awesome and BTW... Girls run the world - just ask Beyoncé..
That crazy BCB

BCB, wth is that? And what does it have to do with beyonxce? And no girls dont rule the world: the illuminati/jesuits do.

Too clique-y for my taste. I think that might just be the main Jacksonville chapter though.

Why do you think it is cliquey?

lol wth does that have to do with anything... BCB is pretty cool though, ive been to a couple tailgates but im not a super active member or anything... Not sure what BCB did to OP.

Fixed. Unless you like skinny jeans, plaid shirts, Starbucks coffee, and suspect "designer" beers.
Teal street holligans had a decent tailgate last year too, hadnt seen much this year though.

They haven't done anything to me personally. I just don't understand why they feel they need a fan base within a fan base? Are they more elite than other fans? Is it because they have membership cards? I just don't get it. It's like you pay 20 bucks to make you feel like an official fan?

Honestly, kinda dug the shirt lol... Thats the only reason i joined .. Its 20 bucks for a nike jag shirt anyway..but as far as the sticker and the card, not sure what i did with those...i dont even think i took them out of the package lol.... But i do get what you are saying, and to an extent i agree with you, i just never looked at it that way i guess
I think it's pretty silly. But I also don't love sneakers as much as the average 22 year should or expensive jewelry. I don't need much is what I'm saying
I was gonna buy some stuff too until I read that.

Is that isolated or a common issue?

You've really never seen a team with support groups? The BCB is awesome. Just off the top of my head:

-BCB brings hundreds of fans to the draft

-They bring hundreds more to away games

-They've given thousands of dollars to charities like the Boselli Foundation

-They just gave hundreds of winter coats to charity during the last tailgate

-They help distant fans such as myself connect closer to the team and other fans

-They have been designated the only section of the stadium where standing is encouraged

-The Jags switched the side of the field that they warm up on because many of the players wanted to warm up in front of the rabid BCB section. All of the players know and love the BCB.

I'm sure I could go on if I wanted. It's been nothing but a gigantic positive in my eyes.

There are probably about a thousand somewhat legitimate concerns to come to this forum and address as far as the Jags go but this sure as hell ain't one of them. Who in their right mind if they are indeed a fan of this team complains about a group of fans that love and support the Jags?

The BCB members I have seen are unlikely to wear skinny anything

Everyone I know including myself and ten or so others all received their package. Hell the shirt is worth the twenty, add in the free beer and food tailgates and you can't go wrong. By all means stay away if you have an aversion to fun and partying and such shenanigans.
BCB?  Oh no.  I'm all in to the Bye Week and was going to initiate a Bye City Brigade --- oh wait, that doesn't sounds right :woot:
