The bye week is upon us ladies and gents. I think this would be a good time to take a step back, take a deep breath, and enjoy it. We cant loose this week right?
Yeah, we are winning this week!  I think it will be good for BB to take some time off.  He can take more time for his footwork and film study.  Maybe this will be the turning point for him?

We're gonna lose.
I don't get why people think one extra week means that much.  I'm not going to get my hopes up.

BB needed the bye week. His footwork and accuracy looked much better in preseason. His throws were sharper and he seemed a little more confident playing "loose."

This is why I'm not worried about BB. He's basically learning on the fly. I saw what he could become in preseason and if he puts his brain and heart to it this offseason then il expect some big things from him next year. Til then, we have to deal with the rookie QB.

Go Jags

Couldn't agree more.
If there's one thing BB does to justify his starting position over Henne, it's his ability to extend plays when the backfield is penetrated.
we lost our bye week last year.  that's when Blackmon got suspended again  lol

this season its bye bye week or wave bye week

Yep. It is possible to lose during the bye week.
we lose if none of the players use the time to improve.  if this week is a vacation for everyone, we lose.  Bortles needs to be strapped into a chair clock work orange style and forced to watch film.  thats all he should do.  he is raw and talented and can play on the fly, he needs to understand coverages and see the mistakes he's making.  forget about footwork and all that garbage.  play the game you were gifted to play, and worry about the mechanics later.  the name of the game is throw the ball to the open guy.  ive seen blake throw a lot of passes at this point...he has that part down well enough to get through his rookie year.  i wanna see some understanding of the game.  i wanna see him turn it into a chess match.  i want fisch to get the offense moving faster, when we no huddle and go up tempo we always seem to do better.  lets see some more plays designed to drop the safety and let someone get over top.  Cecil had a great game yesterday,  he is still a really good player for us, i hope we keep him.  put cecil in the slot in 2015 and let hurns, arob, and lee battle for number one, i feel those 3 are going to be really good. you can already see the intensity they display. when 15 got the late touchdown yesterday, you could see he was still focused and in the moment, thats important, you dont want our guys giving up after its over.  ITS NEVER OVER.  yesterday you force 2 fumbles and get that onside kick  or thomas instead of making that weird jump swat at the ball instead jumps it and gets the pick and we win, its that easy, and it can happen, they are all humans, there are no robots hiding in there designed to never drop the ball, it happens, the chips didnt fall in our place yesterday but after getting the 7 - 3 lead it easily could have.  i saw someone in the gameday thread yesterday  say that we are not talented or mentally tough enough to come back from the sanders punt and he was right.  but give it time and we will overcome that and be able to keep up with the smash mouth football.  i still am going to believe in gus, its not like hes a complete moron, he's been holding a job for how long now?  you dont stay in a business like the NFL by being a complete wash up so im going to keep believing he knows what needs to be done.  fisch needs to wait til we have a better o-line for some of the plays he's calling.  i almost never see toss plays,  why is that?  drob (obviously) has great potential for break away that we saw with his early touchdown.  and i'll restate the same complaint most people have:  why, when we get stuffed up the middle, do we keep trying up the middle?  where is the outside hand offs? where is the toss plays? where are the RB screens? why dont we let will get more touches to try and get up the middle in those 4th and 2 situations?  why hand it off 2 yards back when you got a big body right htere to get it done.  or run more than one qb sneak.  inb4 madden isnt real football but its a pretty good simulation, when playing i see the same problems of no receiver seperation, no o-line protection, sub par run game.  but hey, guess what?  i still find ways to win and utilize the personell.  Lewis could mix into the slot for a big body quick catch or some decent downfield blocks when he comes back,  get cecil in the slot too, i think the slot is an important position we cant seem to get big plays for.  wes welker has made a nice career out of being a stellar slot guy. if you cant go deep, gouge them with some nickle and dime plays, free up the run game or the deep pass when they load the box/press coverage on the slot receiver.  we gotta find a way to set up play action and make it effective as well and i would say get some different formations.  i see a lot fo singleback, pistol, shotgun with rb and te lined up next to blake.  where are the weak and strong formations to set up the toss plays where is I formation with some play action set up?  why not let blake run some more designed run plays?  i know its hard with the O-line we have its sad to say but i see Luke being a bust.  Center made some bad plays yesterday specifically the QB sneak where he fell over basically and didnt give Blake anything to push behind.  we desperately need to get a solid O-line throuhg FA, we cant wait to develop a new slew of rookies.  blake needs more time back there. what have we been saying for years now?  leftwich/garrard/gabbert/henne/blake needs more time back there, lol, its insane, they all needed more time back there, imagine if THEY HAD MORE TIME? WHAT WOULD HAPPEN?  I JUST WANT TO KNOW, I WANT TO SEE WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THE PLAY CAN DEVELOP, OR THE LINE CAN GET TO THE SECOND LEVEL, C'MON JUST MAKE A GOOD O-LINE THATS ALL I WANT.  i'm not really sure what else to say at this point, i will let the thread develop more and see where it takes us.

Lol holy smokes man. Try some paragraphs next time.

His user name tells me enough.
27-13 Bye

lol... another frustrating loss but this thread is quite amusing. I suppose it's just comforting that others out there feel the same pain.

knarnn im no stranger to how rude you can be as i'm a long time reader and (as everyone can see) recent time poster, so to fire one back at you, at least i dont think lose is spelled loose, as you seem to in a lot of your posts.
