Are there any other Garth fans on this board? I've literally been a fan of his since I was in diapers.

 

There are many embarrassing photos of me at a very young age "singing" Garth Brooks songs and no I won't be posting any of them. 

 

Last Friday he had a concert in Minneapolis that was attended by Teresa Shaw.  Teresa has cancer and brought a sign saying 

"Chemo this morning

Garth Tonight

Enjoying The Dance"

 

It got put on the jumbotron while Garth was singing The Dance and the place went crazy.  She got brought up to the front row right in front of him as he was finishing the song.  I thought what Garth did was wonderful and for a guy as famous as he is, he seems genuine and heartfelt.  I'd suggest watching the 2nd video in the link below if you haven't seen it.

I like Garth. He seems like a genuine dude. Good stuff.

I've never listened to his music, as I'm not even much of a country fan, but I do remember when he played with the New York Mets. That's all I know about him.

I like Garth, not my favorite but you can't be a country fan and not like Garth.
