Quote:We don't even belong in this league. We are a rotating bye week.

Do you feel better now?
They suck, JAGUARS SUCK, THEY WILL ALWAYS SUCK. JEDD FISCH SUCKS, BORTLES SUCKS, THE WHOLE STUPID TEAM SUCKS!!!

To get lots of high first round picks duh!!!

I have negative hope for the Jags. At this point, I hope for hope for the Jags.
Yeah, lowest spot in franchise history is happening right now. And they are still preaching hope.
There is an off-chance that they are doing this on purpose to make the Brit's lose interest in American football entirely.

Teddy has been drafted already
Quote:Starting to wonder. They are really making a case.
No they just suck
The team has been very bad, but they are also very young. They are playing rookies at all of the position groups on offense. These are very young players who are going through growing pains.

100% agree. This is the reason there is hope and a general feeling of heading in the right direction even though it doesn't feel that way at times.
They're so bad, that next week they're callin it a bye bye week.

Nope, it's just the opposite. This way we get to persuade more top teams to come over here.

We just say: "You'll be playing the Jags."

And they reply: "We're booking flight tickets now."
Quote:Yeah, this is definitely not on purpose, that doesn't happen.  Seems like the physical talent is headed in the right direction but we are our own worst enemy when it comes to stupid mental mistakes.  Coaching is a part of that.  Players inexperience is a part of that.  At some point though, the team has to learn to put that behind them.
ah... I must disagree. Do you really think that the colts didn't tank to get Andrew Luck? No? Tell me, would you be interested in buying some property in Brooklyn?

So here is the conspiracy theory...

*The NFL wants to expand into London, and London seems interested in having an NFL team there.

*London games for the Jags are more profitable for Shad Khan than home games here...(fact!)

*Khan said he would never move the team unless it became unprofitable to stay in Jacksonville...

*Khan is the newest owner and has family and other business interest in London, including a professional soccer team there.

*The worse the Jags perform, the lower the game attendance and tv marketing value will become, lowering the profitability of staying here.

*Jacksonville is among, if not THE smallest market in the NFL.

*At least one London sports writer has already come out and said the Jags will be London's team in 4 to 5 years....

*The team inexplicably under-performs at the worst possible times leaving the impression that some players are 'throwing the game'.

*The Jaguars are being promoted more than any other NFL team in London....

hmmmm. sounds like the makings of an Agatha Christy mystery...

Everybody break out your tinfoil hats.  :teehee:

Or...the Jags really just suck right now.

I don't think they are good enough to lose on purpose, even if they tried to lose on purpose, because they just couldn't do it.

Losing just comes naturally to them, no need to try to lose on purpose.

The fact that this was a serious post is sad.

ah, I guess I didn't make my use of the 'sarcasm font' apparent enough. No, I am not an advocate of this 'theory'; I was just restating what I've read else where. I guess ya'll aren't big on Agatha Christy stories, eh?

Nothing wrong with a good Agatha Christie mystery.

I just wish the Jags games had more mystery/drama to them, because right now it seems we already know the ending not long after the game starts.

A little more mystery/drama would be a welcome change.
